अस्सी हज़ार एक सो हज़ार करोड़ रूपया

पानी की तरह बहाया हुकमरानो  ने

न सोचा न समझा बेइंतहा लगाया

कहाँ लगा किस काम आया कोई जाने न

देश की साख पर बन आई किसको असर हुआ

छुपते छुपाते बघ्ले झांकते सब नाज़ार आये

एक दुसरे पर इल्जामो की झड़ी लगती रही

 इतने में तो एक नया शहर बस जाता

 आम आदमी पिस्ता रहा रोता रहा     

 आँसू बरसात और सैलाब में बह गए

हर सीने में पीड़ा है पेट सब का भूखा है

 पर कमाल है यह क्रीड़ा 

 कभी पुल गिरता है कभी छतें गिरती  हैं

 यह दिल्ली है मेरे भाई यहाँ हर आह बिकती है

बचे धूल में खेले जहाँ स्ताडियम बनते हैं 

कभी आंधी कभी सैलाब से लड़ते हैं

 

शीला जी कलमाडी भानूत और गिल

 सब अपने घरों में बैठ कर नोट गिनते रहे

 देश को दाव पर लगा चैन लेते रहे

 कितना आसान है सभ पर पानी बहा देना

 विष्व का हर देश आँखे दिखाता है

  गोरी चमड़ी वाले यहाँ आ कर नचाते हैं

 हिन्दुस्तानी क्या जाने अतिथी के स्वागत को

  अतिथी देवो भावो का ठहाका लगते हैं

 इनसे  सीखो देश को कैसे बदनाम करते हैं 

  क्या जाने इज़्ज़त क्या है आज के हुकाम्राना 

 कभी देखा होता भगत सिंह, गाँधी, तिलक को तो

 जान पाते देश पर जान कैसे लुटाते हैं

 पैसा क्या जो मिट्टी में सभ कुछ मिला देता

  कहीं दिवाली कहीं ईद बना देता

दिखलाया हमने विष्व भर को ये

 हम बोलते बहुत हैं  करते नहीं कुछ भी

 काम चोरों की चाल देख कर

भगवान् ने भी मुह मोड़ा

इस भले देश का उसने भी  साथ  छोड़ा

देश की तकलीफें और बड़ा दी है

चाहता वह भी था भूखों का साथ देना

 अपनी इस चाह में उनको ही सताया था

 चारों  तरफ जलथल उसने बनाया था

 जागो सोओ  मत  मेहनत की बेला है

 कहीं  डेंगू कहीं फ्लू कहीं मलेरिया फैला है

 चारों तरफ मछर पनपते नज़र आये

सफाई क्या होती है जिनको हमने सिखलाया

वह ही आज हम को कसीदे कसते नज़र आये

 कितने मरे कितने हस्पतालो में पड़े

हुकमरानों के पेट फिर भी ना भरे

 आओ देखें हश्र क्या इन खेलों का

 जो इज़्ज़त बढाने की जगह देश से खिलवाड़ कर गए.

The  longing  is  gone
The  whining  is  gone
